Here at ColoGuard, datacenter security is a top priority. There are mantraps, keycard readers, CCTV cameras and biometric scanners. Don’t try to sneak in with just any finger – our scanners won’t unlock the door unless it identifies a fingerprint and detects a pulse. We’re always interested in showing the world the capabilities of our datacenter, but tours are generally limited to customers and potential customers.

Until now.

Our sister company, GalaxyVisions, has posted a series of videos that take a deep dive into the 15,000-square-foot datacenter shared by both companies. These videos, can be seen at GalaxyVisions’ video library.

The videos answer many of the questions our customers have about the way the datacenter is set up. For example, you’ll see why our facility’s floors don’t sound hollow when you walk across them. The reason? We put all our cabling overhead. It makes it much easier to diagnose problems. Other videos focus on our reliable power sources, our unique cooling system and redundant network connections.

At both ColoGuard and GalaxyVisions, we take a lot of pride in our datacenter. Because we own the facility, we can offer services that other companies cannot. Our offerings can and will grow as your company does. Our rivals are often limited by the fact that they rent space in datacenters owned by telcos and other companies. They don’t always have what you need when you need it.
